General Rules: 

Tournament open to UK residents only. We are looking into opening up to worldwide soon.

All participants must be registered with a score screenshot emailed to Beat Master by the deadline (11:59pm Sunday 12th April 2020).                

Screenshots must show the participants score and good cuts.                              

Entry fee is £20 inc. booking and admin fees.

Entrants must be aged 18 years or more at time of registration.

On The Day Rules:

We use the PLAYSTATION 4 PSVR version of this game. Although some play on Steam via Oculus Rift or Vive, it is still possible to take part as the same ideas are in this game. There are different controllers to get used to but we may let you have a little play before the tournament starts to get used to these.

Each participant must be available on the day(s) and time(s) of the event.               

Idenfication must be shown when signing in at the venue.

Participants must be at their area in time for their matches, if late by more than five minutes their score for that match will be zero.                

If a match is in play, no other participants are to enter the area for safety reasons.                

The songs, difficulty and modifiers are selected before the event date and are visible on the website. These are final and are not changing. 

The physical prizes are non transferable to cash.                

Code Of Conduct: 

Participants shall act in a professional manner at all times at the site of each match. They shall refrain from acting in a vulgar, abusive, or offensive manner or engaging in any illegal activity. 

Treat other participants and Beat Master staff with respect.                

No bullying or threatening behaviour.               

No alcohol is permitted at the event.

No smoking is permitted at the event.

No gambling is permitted at the event Any form of cheating is strictly forbidden and may lead to immediate disqualification and previous matches may also be reviewed. Tournament officials may opt to disqualify the participant from the tournament entirely. The participant may also lose any right to enter future Beat Master tournaments.

Match fixing is defined as an attempt to arrange or influence, in advance, the outcome of a match, or events within the match, usually for the purpose of making money, often from betting. Participants, directly or indirectly, are not allowed to accept from, or offer to, any person or entity (whether they are participants or otherwise) any bribes/gifts/rewards of any nature in relation to seeking to influence the outcome, result of, conduct of, a match or the competition. Participants are under a strict obligation to immediately report to a tournament official any approach, or any offer of a bribe/gift/reward made to them, or any other participant, related to seeking to influence the outcome, result, or conduct of a match or the competition. 

Spirit of the Rules. Finality of all decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules, Player eligibility, scheduling and staging for the tournament and related events, and penalties for misconduct, lie solely with Beat Master Management, the decisions of which are final. Beat Master decisions relating to these rules and/or the tournament cannot be appealed and shall not give rise to any claim for monetary damages or other legal or equitable remedy. These rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by Beat Master, from time to time, in order to, among other things, ensure fair play and the integrity of Beat Master.
